My now Ex-boyfriend who was selling kittens gave me one before things ended. Now he is asking for the kitten back.

I received the dog 3 weeks ago. It got out and the vet called the number on the tag. The original owner drove two hours and picked up the dog. How can I get the dog back?

I gave my dog to a shelter in Ohio because I thought he was acting up while I was at work. I talked to his vet and she said he is suffering from separation anxiety. I now want my dog back and will work with the vet. The shelter does not want to give him back to me. Is he mine or theirs?

My housemate gave me his dog, but when I lost the dog a few years later, my old housemate was reunited with the dog and claimed that I had stolen the dog from him.
