Get to Know Alex
Sweet senior Alex is the quiet, empathetic leader to the clowder he was rescued with from the Happy Cat Sanctuary fire. This is no surprise as he was the personal cat of their hero, the proprietor of the shelter. Alex carries with him the strength he was gifted in his loving home, and he seeks to carry on the legacy of his father by being there to support his friends through the difficult transition. While he shows some tentative moments in the newness of the experience of Bianca’s Furry Friends, he eagerly hops along on his 3 legs to collects delectable treats from his new friends while accepting gentle overtures of kindness. Alex has experienced tremendous upheaval these past few weeks; his kindness in the face of adversity is inspiring to all he comes in contact with, especially his shyer mates. Simple acts, like his fascination with bird tv, give us all tremendous comfort knowing his time with us will yield him another chance at a loving home with some very fortunate heroes.
