Team Animal League is proud to be running in the TCS New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 7, 2021. Now celebrating it’s 50th Anniversary, you can support Team Animal League in this iconic race as they help raise funds and awareness to our no-kill mission. Net proceeds from this fundraising event will benefit the operation of Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center and have lifesaving impact on the rescue kittens and cats of North Shore Animal League America. You can help us cross the finish line by making a donation to the team, or by supporting a runner to help them reach their goal.

As a member of Team Animal League you are an important part of our mission to rescue, nurture and adopt all animals in need, as well as educate future generations about the plight of shelter pets. Meet Team Captain Scott Guber
Scott Guber has been a Team Animal League member since its inception in 2008 and overall has participated in an impressive 34 marathons! He is an inspiration to everyone he meets and a true supporter of Animal League America. “As a no-kill shelter, North Shore Animal League America gives every animal a fighting chance, regardless of age, background or condition,” says Mr. Guber. “Having spent a lot of time at the Animal League, I feel privileged to do anything I can to support the mission. Words cannot express the joy both the animals and the adopters experience when that special moment occurs. Knowing that simply logging miles can help make this happen seems like such a simple task compared to the tireless efforts everyone at the Animal League puts in each and every day.”
